Behold! The King of bling casts his spell to stun the world by transforming a house in Switzerland into the world’s most expensive house. Costing a whopping £ 7.5 billion ($12.2 billion), it comes loaded with solid gold and platinum fixtures and fittings. More than 200,000 kilograms of precious metal is used to bring in the bling element. Stuart Hughes has teamed up with Kevin Huber of exklusivHAUS of Zug Switzerland for a client who could afford to shell out an astounding amount to dwell in the most unique and most expensive house. The exclusivity bar is further raised by using meteoric stone with shavings of original Dinosaur bone from the 65 million year of Raptor, the T-REX right throughout the flooring. Coming back to the basic features that define a house, this uber-opulent den spreads well to accommodate eight rooms with special wine stone cellar and a garage with four parking places (to park your most expensive cars).

The site lists the details as - Land off: 2442m2, Living space: 725m2, Terrace: 388m2, Cellar: 245m2. The team took about five and half years to erect such an abode. The exact location is not revealed for obvious reasons! Well, this latest pompous address certainly makes the $1 billion house (which was touted to the most expensive house till date) appear humble. At this cost, we can add twelve Antilia to our planet’s skyline.

The world's most expensive edible cupcake unveiled in Dubai

Good food is a sign of prosperity, happy times and great taste. While items such as hot dogs, pizzas, ice creams, sundaes, pies and desserts have been around for a while, it's time for the foodies of Dubai to flaunt their rich culinary skills. Bloomsbury opened its new boutique café at The Dubai Mall with an opulent band. The event also witnessed the unveiling of "The Most Expensive 'Edible' Cupcake", called as the Golden Phoenix. Prepared with the most expensive ingredients, the brand spent well over $28,000 just to unveil the cup cake in a gala event.


Available exclusively at the Bloomsbury's located in The Dubai Mall, the yummy cake is priced at $1,010 and will be presented on a 24-carat gold Empire Morning Cake Stand with Cloch by Villari. Reports suggest that the cup cake contains Doves organic flour and Rachels organic butter from UK, Premium Amedei Porcelena cocoa from Italy, vanilla beans from Gold Ugandan, organic strawberries and 23-carat edible gold sheet.

Penfolds unveils the most expensive wine in the world

Australia's fine wine maker Penfolds has announced the most expensive wine that will be directly sold from a winery in the world. It is also the only wine that has been completely encased in glass without any corks and screw caps. Tagged at $168,000, each Ampoule will contain Penfolds 2004 Block 42 which is a rare, single vineyard wine, produced from the oldest continuously producing Cabernet Sauvignon vines in the world. Many expert hands are behind the unique glass objet d'art suspended within a wooden Jarrah cabinet that holds all the red wine. Also one needs to plan well in advance before intending to raise a toast with this exclusive and expensive wine. Penfolds will send a senior member of the Penfolds Winemaking team to the buyer's location with a specially designed, tungsten-tipped, sterling silver tool to open the Ampoule. After the expert opening event, the wine will be prepared using a beautifully crafted sterling silver tastevin.

The global launch of the limited edition Ampoule took place in Moscow, Russia with Penfolds Chief Winemaker, Peter Gag. Of the dozen most expensive wines, one will be reserved for the brand's museum, second will be auctioned for charity and the remaining ten will be offered for sale - two in North America, two in Europe, three in Asia, and three in Australia and New Zealand.

Lamborghini unveiled the Gallardo LP560-4 Gold Edition at the Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macau International Auto Show. Covered in a special gold metallic paint it packs in new alloy wheels and a unique engine cover. The interiors have some minor cosmetic uplifts whereas the seats and steering wheel have a bright red stitching, This model is powered by a 5.2 liter V10 engine, producing a total output of 552 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) available at 6,500 rpm. Lamborghini will be only producing 10 cars which would be selling at 3.988 million yuan or $800,000, almost 200,000 USD more than a standard Gallardo in China which is a humble price to pay for exclusivity among the elite in the Middle Kingdom

Glenfiddich has long been known as one of the finest brands of Scotch hailing from Scotland. Just recently, a 1937 bottle from the Glenfiddich Rare Collection was auctioned off for a whopping $71,700 in London, a price well-portraying the exquisiteness of the scotch itself. We’ve had a look at some exceptional and equally expensive bottles from the distilleries of William Grant & Sons, the makers of Glenfiddich, including a 50-year old Single Malt and a 55-year-old Limited Edition Janet Sheed Roberts Glenfiddich.

This 75-year-old bottle auctioned was part of a 64-lot whisky section at the auction that also included a “Trilogy” of 1964 Bowmore “Black,” “White” and “Gold” single malts, all matured in contrasting wooden casks, sold for about $21,495.
