Unlike existing folding bicycle designs that fold into a triangular shape, the Donut bike folds into a super-compact circle that leaves no component exposed. From the handlebars to the pedals, everything is safely tucked away and making it incredibly easy to tote around and store.

Living Architecture

The Turbine Bridge concept is a hydroelectric power station that also serves as a multifunctional space on Amsterdam’s Amstel River. On the main internal level there is space dedicated to pedestrian walkers and cyclists, cafes and stores while the upper level hosts terraces, playgrounds and spaces to relax. More than just a link between two sides of the river, the bridge aims to become a landmark where both locals and tourists can come together.

The 100% electric Monobike might not look very “mono” at first glance, but at higher speeds the rear wheel lifts, balancing only on the front portion of the bike. The design, which is really more of a “dicycle,” aims to relieve the congested roads of urban streets by providing a slim yet speedy solution for getting around the city. Its miniature size and unique design make it possible to park in a vertical position, further reducing the amount of space it takes up

Lunch with Warren Buffet now on auction on eBay Giving Works

It’s been 13 years now since philanthropist and investor Warren Buffet has unfailingly hosted a charity lunch. This time too, the generous gentleman has begun the auction for the charity power lunch, proceeds of which will be directed to the San Francisco’s GLIDE. With bidding scheduled to close on the 8th of June, the lunch is listed through eBay Giving Works with bidding starting off at $25,000. The winning bid will enjoy the opportunity to invite seven friends to join Mr. Buffet for a meal at Smith & Wollensky, better known as the quintessential New York steakhouse.

A Dragon in the City

This unorthodox structure, designed for Shangai’s city center, traverses over a man-made river and park system, serving as a peaceful landmark getaway for visitors and locals alike. The spiraling structure, named Sity, is ultramodern in approach, but was inspired by the ancient Chinese dragon. At once it is a striking beacon of the future and an instantaneously recognizable symbol of age-old tradition.

Solar Floating Resort is conceptualized with an underwater observation bulb

After Pandora, floating islands have become quite a rage. And not it’s the time for Italian industrial designer Michele Puzzolante to create a conceptual floating luxury hotel suite. He says that it is "entirely self-powering thanks to the dye-sensitized solar cells" that are fitted into the vessel's walls. This "Solar Floating Resort" can house six resident passengers who can keep an eye on marine wildlife courtesy an underwater "observation bulb."

Measuring 20-m in length, the SFR features two double and two single bedrooms with private bathrooms. The resort also sports a kitchen, dining room, lounge area and bridge. The obligatory hot tub can be seen at the outer teak deck. The observation bulb built into the hull, will offer 60-degree views of the ocean. At this time though, technical details are sparse. However this is one resort I don’t mind taking a weekend break in!
